Gosh that Austrian house of horrors news is so sick. what a sick weirdo.
I'm so becoming a nerd. thoughts running through brain as reading news:
1. man what a sick fella
2. poor girl and poor kids
3. gosh so much increase in homozygosity via inbreeding
4. hmm must be interesting for scientists cos the children nv had access to sunlight ever before - can see the effects
Aarghhhh.

Feast your eyes.
Hehe. Recent trip to Orchard 13.4.08. Went the same place again today to destress, food is damn good!

Chefs busy making my foooood.

Nice setup @ din tai fung

Impatiently waiting for food :P

Xiao Long Bao!

My super yummy zha jiang mian :D The lamien is absolutely fabulous :D

Yummy red bean xiao long bau :D We couldnt resist so 2's missing before pic taking:D

A super fat pigeon busy pecking food crumbs from the road, saw me with my camera, stood still and started posing.

A rather cool piece of architecture :P - Pan pacific service suites on Orchard.

Grandma Goes Nuts, Seriously! Mudcake from NYDC :D

Happy Pheebs and Kang going back, with horrified-looking woman behind :P

There's now a bird in my cluster kitchen happily singing at the top of its voice because somebody left a half-eaten pear and now its feasting on it and making a mess on the kitchen table.
:)
So cute.
That bird's been at my kitchen every morning, rummaging in the basket for food, etc. What a greedy bird. Haha. Imagine if a bird just flew into your kitchen everyday looking for food. And even if you go near it it'll just hop a few steps away, wont even fly. hahaha.
What a cute and dumb bird. :P

Regrets
Armed with SPM 10A1s, 4 As Cambridge A levels, she embarked on another academically fulfilling journey to university, being the top scorer for all subjects and graduating with a first class honours
If I only went to ANU. Or some other University.
So what's the point? What's the frigging point of studying so bloody hard and then the prof just says ooh open book open discussion and gives you some stupid questions you never seen before in your whole life and asks you to complete all the super long 3 page questions in 1.5 hours and everyone starts copying each other but you don't have anyone to copy from!
What's the point of studying so hard everyday, just to get mediocre results?
What's the whole point?

INCONSIDERATE NEIGHBOURS.
Darn pissed off at my neighbour now who is damn inconsiderate.
Every morning wake up like 6-ish 7 then start blaring music damn loud like her eardrums going to burst. And the wall separating her room and mine is so thin, altho she's in architecture she just seems to laze in her room the whole day watching korean series (with volume damn loud)
now she's playing her music again damn super loud and I can't study for my test! I've told her off a few times she never seems to listen! Some ppl are just sooo inconsiderate.
The neighbour opposite me smokes, in the front the 2 vietnamese cook everyday and never wash up dishes and make a mess out of the fridge and kitchen..and somebody used to spray mosquitoe repellent into the common bathroom everyday!
Talk about retardedness...ish.

I remember last time at my grandparents' place, there was only one gameboy :D
Everyone fought for it, just to play mario and other nintendo games :D
And since I was the fave cousin sister, i got to play it a few times without fighting for it :D Hoho :D
I miss those times :(
Now my cousins are all so grown up, all they do is play Warcraft and other advanced games -.-
We used to go to the beach everyday! Now everyone's just stuck to the comp.
Boo.

2. Dropping hair
3. Weight loss
4. loneliness
5. antisocial skills
6. sucky food
7. feelings of envy for other friends
8. sick of tests tests tests and MORE TESTS

Last week after Tuesday was pretty good :) Finished my 40% test, decided that phoebe will now take a break as her next test is on 9th April.
Bummed around the whole week (except for rushing for lectures, where if you think about it, takes up roughly 30 hours of my week), watched a ton of movies :D Watched LOST the latest season, 101 dalmations, snow white and the seven dwarfs, And...

Meet The Robinsons!!
Oh man I highly recommend Meet the Robinsons, it's so inspiring!! I had no idea it was this nice cos you know it wasnt as famous as finding nemo or the incredibles. But oh man it really IS very nice :D
How nice if you already know how your future is going to be like --- super bright, super successful, and with a loving family that you've always dreamt of having.
SO nice. Keep Moving forward!!!
On the other hand, the soundtrack for this movie is also super wonderful. Rob Thomas - Little Wonders. If you haven't heard of it, go youtube it. But of course the effect of watching the MTV isn't quite the same as hearing it during the movie together with the touching conclusion :D
But oh well a week of bumming around has finally caught up with me. I need to write a stupid 1200 word essay, get ready for my test on 9th April, and finish my miniproject lab report which is worth 40% :( Boohoohoo.
Can't really say I enjoy studying for my degree. Bleargh. I'm so lazy.

Chipped tooth..fixed :D
Today was supposed to be my The X-Race event.
But then my tooth filling came off and exposed my nerve, so I chose to be selfish and lazy and went to the dentist instead cos the dental clinics here are only open from 9-1pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.
No qualms about it tho :D Cos I've really been doing everything for this event, be it fundraising, planning etc and it's really time for someone other than me to start doing the things. After all, I am the project ADVISOR and am supposed to be ADVISING, not DIRECTING (hint project director) :D
However, credit must also be given to the project director for making this event a success! :D (although only 4 teams came and everyone went back home with free cash in their pockets)
Let's sidetrack to my dental visit first.
Called the NTUC Denticare call centre at 8.45am in the morning, and she said there was a appointment available for the 11am time slot. Hrm but no harm walking in and see whether there will be any vacancies. So okay with the company of Kang dear (who painstakingly woke up at 8am for me when he usually sleeps till mid noon, so touching..hm. okay very touching hehe thank you hugs hugs ;p ) we went off to clementi, took about 20 minutes to find the place ( I usually have very good sense of direction..maybe not with a bad tooth :P), went in and was told that someone booked the 11am timeslot yesterday but they forgot to key it into the database.
Hm. But oh well since it's singapore i was sure that they wouldnt turn me away, since the call centre made a mistake and not me, so we just sat down and waited. Watched an episode of doraemon :D :D :D on the TV and fin reading the new straits times before I got called in at around 10.45am. Eep I do not like dental checkups :(
I had cleaning and polishing done..I really disliked the sharp device poking around at my gums :( Then had an x-ray taken to see whether my exposed nerve had been damaged..luckily the x-ray din show any nerve damage but the dentist says that sometimes preliminary infection will not show up on x-ray, so if in the next 2 months i get some toothache I'll have to go back for treatment (Oh man I wish I never went bike racing on that day boohoo) So lets hope my nerve is well and okay. :)
The really professional dentist fixed up my tooth with super advanced tools like blue laser in like 5 minutes. The whole thing cost me $97..which is quite okay I guess :)
Went back to NUS to find everyone waiting for me, the VVIP to give out the cash prizes. Gave out the money that me and my subcom very very painstakingly raised thru fundraising, took some pictures, and yay all went home after that :D
Went for lunch @ dianxiaoer and Dinner @ soup restaurant. Yums. Phoebe is a happie girl when her stomach is full :D
Burps :D
